While blogs like DailyKos have made folks feel connected to the political process, being able to feel like real journalists and commentators and immediately being able to access loads of information, which of course is fantastic if it gets people to organize and vote, blogs also have contributed a great number of "armchair analysts." These guys think it's enough just to post from their living rooms in order to advocate for political change. With a few keystrokes, they can give their input to some of the world's weightiest issues and feel like they accomplished something. While the netroots have been a great way of bringing people into the process, bloggers (especially guest posters on blogs like Kos) need to realize that in a lot of cases, they're preaching to the liberal, wealthy, urban choir, and that more needs to be done if change is actually going to be accomplished.

I agree with you that chastising politicians like Biden and troll-rating posters whose views are divergent from the normal Democratic propaganda is not helpful to the fight to diminish Bush and his cronies' power in 2006. Their loss, Tony!Wicked Wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00602055875854531094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4056640.post-1139511094401735842006-02-09T13:51:00.000-05:002006-02-09T13:51:00.000-05:00FASINATING!
