More on the Haliburton contract
This comes from the San Francisco Chronicle, via commondreams.org: ["Firm linked to Cheney wins oil-field contract"].

"Regime change in Baghdad would reshuffle the cards and give U.S. (and British) companies a good shot at direct access to Iraqi oil fields for the first time in 30 years -- a windfall worth hundreds of billions of dollars." - Michael Renner, a researcher at WorldWatch Institute.

Saddam Hussein has been contained for 12 years. There is no evidence - anywhere - that he was involved in Sept. 11. This is all about oil and a bad post Clinton/Bush economy.
